Nice ride to see country scenery and experience interesting turns and curves. You can continue on 268 to W Kerr Scott Dam if you wish and then return and take the loop shown...or at the top of the loop you can continue up the mountain toward Blowing Rock and Boone. There is even a campground available in the Ferguson area exclusively for bikers.
