Except for the necessary section of I-5, there are some great riding roads on the trip. Once you get to Christmas Valley, Oregon, the ride is becomes just the quickest way to get to Burns, OR. Scenery doesn´t change much on that last stretch, but it´s nice open dry country. This was planned out as an alternate way to get from the Redding, CA area to the John Day, OR area on the Hippo´s Tour ride.
