Great ride to and from Fresno. Occasional slow traffic on 168 going to Shaver Lake, but they pull aside for groups with no problems. Spring / Fall can have fog or mist conditions. Bring raingear. Gas stations along the route every 20-30 miles. Look out for RV´s near Bass Lake. Oakhurst has plenty of restaurants to chose from and 4 gas stations. I recommend El Cid - lots of parking, great service and reasonable prices. Roll back south on 41 and you stay in the rolling hills until 41 opens up to 4-lanes for the ride into Fresno. 4 hours.
