The gravel road on the route is closed duebto flooding. Just go through Kleinmond and take the dirt road before the next crossing. Shorter but still good. Take you through Elgin en then you can continue through Grabouw.

Scenic Route through Bottelary farms and Stellenbosch. Smell the ocean driving on Beach Road and enjoy the fast curvy Rooi Els pass. Jump on dirt just after Betty´s Bay for a dusty ´shortcut´ to Grabouw. After Breakfast at Orchards Restaurant drive the Franschhoek Pass past Theewaterskloof dam. Take a detour back home and connecting back on the Bottelary-Bettys road.
